The KPAC Theatre Arts program has been designed to introduce various elements of the theatre through themed camps. In camp, students will touch on multiple elements of theatre production including performance, set design, costume design, prop usage, character development, and scene creation.  In addition they will explore aspects of singing, dancing, acting, and staging. Interactive games and projects are used in learning theatre concepts alongside traditional dance, vocal, and acting exercises. The students at KPAC will make their own props and costumes, and will also help write the show! This interactive creation aspect is what sets the KPAC Theatre Arts program apart from other children’s theatre programs. KPAC Theatre Arts students are given hands on training in all areas of production and performance. Unlike most programs students are given responsibilities that make the show uniquely their own. Stay tuned for details on our next workshop!
